Even in Springfield, where we experienced miracles on a daily basis, we harbored and hid our prejudices. Change takes place over time, usually as old people die off. I realize change doesn’t seem to happen fast enough, but think of the advances humans have made over the last seven decades. To someone living those decades they seem very long. But to someone younger, looking back at seventy years of history seems merely the blink of an eye.
Young people embrace new ideas, while older people cling to tradition. Balance needs to be found. Springfield became what America wanted to be as a child. The town was open, caring and fair. We lost it as quickly as it came. Over the years, we went our separate ways, but the people of Springfield search constantly for what we lost, no matter where we might be. The search isn’t in vain. Love is not an illusion. Happiness is a study and a work of art. Investing life into life takes time; it must be done carefully without measure. Jim Rohn, one of my favorite speakers, says this often. Investing our life into the lives of those around us is the most important investment we make. This is our story.
TOMMIE WEBER is average. He helped raise six daughters. He worked two jobs, trained athletes and coached young kids sports. He lies a little, loves a lot, and never stops dreaming. He is a cheerleader for life in the mundane lane. Ordinary people are his heroes. He is spiritual without being judgmental. He is a lot like everyone else, yet he is unique.
Tommie wrote this book, and others late at night, keeping a dream burning. He is a God-fearing, hell-raising, fragile human being. He has researched and spoken about the body's innate ability to heal itself for over twenty years with cancer patients. Presently, he is traveling the world speaking on the urgency to supplement deficient food in our children, and the necessity to stop poisoning them with fast foods and soda.
He views the past as a school, the future as an adventure, and each present moment as a chance to forgive himself and start anew. He lives in a modest home in New Jersey. His heart is in the Caribbean. His favorite sounds are his heater starting on a cold night or laughter of any sort.
Chasing Miracles warms your heart and soul. Springfield was a typical town until a stranger arrives and amazing, wonderful things started to happen. It became a place so inspiring that I found myself hoping that the events would start happening around me. I wish they would

This is the most important book I have read in years. It is a love story, a lesson in living and dying, a treasure of hope for mankind. I read your book with great pleasure. The warmth you are, your person, your being in the world shines through every line. I am so pleased, feel all warm and fuzzy reading it. This is a true gem. I love the imperfections in the language, the clarity of insight. I see that you are paying homage to our own imperfections to those places in our lives and hearts that want all our kindness and love, our accepting gladness for life itself. I love the humble simplicity of the writing.

Chasing Miracles touched me in a way no other book has before. The pull of the story envelopes you, and holds you close to it's heart with each page. My views of life, my life itself is forever changed for having read this novel. I hope for everyone who reads it, it touches their very soul as it has done mine, and changes your life in a way that brings you all the happiness we all deserve.

In reading this book I found a power to continue. The story, as it unfolds creates messages and insight into the possibility of what may be. To walk the walk, , know the people, was almost like being part of the family. The pictures of hope, despair and then hope are now vivid months after closing the last page.. The sincerity, power and passion of the words have been a lesson in understanding that there is a real future for us all. It doesn't matter what path we set out to follow, things do change if we just take the time to listen to the universe. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to progress in the learning of life.
